BFN presents 'Boxing Fight Night' at Lotto Arena on september 21
On Friday September 21 the Antwerp Lotto Arena will be the venue of “Boxing Fight Night”, the biggest International Boxing Gala of the year. The organising BFN Group is proud and pleased to announce that both Said Ouali and Delfine Persoon will fight for an IBF title.
At its first boxing event in Antwerp, BFN will play a boxing trump card for Belgium: Said Ouali, who will return to Belgium, after a controversial fight against Bailey in 2010. Ouali trains and lives in Miami, Florida. Headlining BFN’s spectacular event, Said Ouali will fight for the vacant IBF Intercontinental welterweight title. A win will bring Ouali closer again to the long-coveted IBF world title.
In addition to Ouali, the organisers also succeeded in inviting Delfine Persoon to their event. Delfine Persoon, who defeated her opponent Lucia Morelli in the 5th round on February 15 of this year, will fight for the vacant IBF world lightweight title on September 21. A win would land her a 2nd world title and a place in the history books.
Of course, this fantastic event in Antwerp would be incomplete without Sugar Jackson. With a series of victories, he is currently on the up and up among superwelters and still in the running for a European title.
In addition to these 3 fantastic fights, the organisers have also received confirmation that Harut Grigorian, Rustemi Kreshnik and Abdel el Ouadi will take part in this important Belgian event. An interesting fact is that Rustemi Kreshnik will make his professional boxing debut that night, in front of his beloved Antwerp audience. After many victories in K-1 and kickboxing, Rustemi Kreshnik will now take on the heavyweight boxers!
The "Boxing Fight Night" event will be the first in a series of boxing events scheduled in Belgium and other European countries.
