Almost no trams will be after the event

The event will last until 1 a.m. If you are coming by public transport, be sure to leave on time. After 1 a.m. there will be hardly any trams running. Only tram 6 in the direction of P+R Luchtbal will still be running. It is best to plan your return trip in advance with the route planner of De Lijn or look for an alternative.

Kennedy Tunnel closed

From Friday evening, April 15, 9 pm until Monday morning, April 18, 5 am, urgent maintenance works will be carried out in the Kennedy Tunnel on the Antwerp Ring Road (R1). During this last weekend of the Easter vacations the tunnel will be closed in the direction of the Netherlands. In the Direction of Ghent the Kennedy Tunnel will remain accessible for through traffic.

From East and West Flanders
Divert via E34 and the R2. The Liefkenshoek Tunnel will be made toll-free.

Direction east
Traffic heading east needs to divert via Brussels.

Follow the detour routes
It is recommended to follow the above detour routes. Road users who do not choose an alternative route during the closure run the risk of getting stuck on the E17 in a long traffic jam with very long waiting times.

There is already plenty of fun to be had on the ski slopes, but unfortunately the biggest indoor après-ski party of the year is being postponed. Because of the new health restrictions, the very first edition of Graspop Metal Moose at Antwerp Sportpaleis will now be taking place on Sunday, 17 April 2022. From 4 p.m. thousands of metalheads from far and wide will gather by the three central bars in the standing area, which will make up an impressive 150 meters of bar. The day after will be Easter Monday, a public holiday to relax and recover from the world's biggest metal party.

So what can you expect from Graspop Metal Moose? Non-stop rock & heavy metal! From classics to the latest hits and the most popular tunes that everyone can sing along to in an unforgettable après-ski atmosphere! The best metal DJs, coolest tribute acts and some surprising special guests will entertain you all night long. The line-up will follow soon.

Also sehr gut: pints of beer and shots, dancers, pyrotechnics and special effects, ski lifts, und ... The very first metal conga! All those in lederhosen, dirndl dress, Viking outfit or battle jacket are welcome to join the longest conga line in the world!

Leave your car at home! Come on the Metal Moose bus, have a drink and be taken home safely. Buses depart from Kortrijk, Ghent, Hasselt, Leuven, Mechelen, Mol, Dessel and Vosselaar.

Tickets already purchased will remain valid for the new date. Ticket holders will be contacted in person by email.

Practical Info
The day after Graspop Metal Moose is a public holiday, so we get to party longer! Sportpaleis Antwerpen will open its doors to thousands of metalheads on Sunday April 17, 2022 at 4 pm and will close at 1 am.

The age limit for Graspop Metal Moose is 18 (ID card compulsory).

VIP Tickets: 135 euros

Drink Vouchers: 30, 60 and 90 euros (see below).

Are you coming in a group? Groups of up to 24 people can order their tickets online. Groups of 25 or over must send an email to groepen@sportpaleisgroup.be.

Attention! Please not there is an additional service cost of 2 euros per ticket for tickets bought at the box office.

Important message: delayed ticket transfer! Tele Ticket Service will send the tickets at the earliest 4 weeks before the event.

Drink vouchers can be ordered in advance at 30, 60 and 90 euros. These drink vouchers are not accepted in the VIP area. Exchange your vouchers in the foyer at the entrance.
