On the back of the release of his new single "Surefire", American star John Legend reveals the news of his next tour 'Darkness And Light Tour', bringing him Forest National on October 5th.

John Legend's success story begins at the age of 20. As a literature student at Pennsylvania University, he gets introduced to Ms. Lauryn Hill. She hires him as pianist for the song "Everything is Everything" from her solo debut 'The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill'. When Legend graduates, he immediately starts producing, writing and recording his own music. In that same period Legend makes the acquaintance of Kanye West, who not only asks him to take on some of the vocal lines on some of his songs, but also offers Legend a contract at G.O.O.D. Music. In 2004, John Legend releases his first long player 'Get Lifted'. The album instantly receives the highest praises and earns him a series of Grammy Awards, including those for ‘Best R&B Album’ and ‘Best New Artist’.

The rest is history: John Legend builds up his artistic successes with albums like "Once Again", "Evolver", "Wake Up" in collaboration with The Roots and "Love In The Future". Again, he accumulates an impressive number of awards, including 10 Grammy Awards, but also an Oscar and a Golden Globe Award. In addition to these trophies, Legend also composed a ton of hits, including "Ordinary People", "Green Light" ft. André 3000, "All Of Me" and "Love Me Now". The latter being the first single of his latest album 'Darkness And Light', released in December of last year. Since the release, Legend has not stopped! He was one of the executive producers and featuring stars of the “La La Land” blockbuster film,  and was, in collaboration with Ariana Grande, the man behind the title track of the recent remake of the ‘Beauty and the Beast’ movie.

John Legend will perform at Forest National on Thursday, October 5th as part of the European run of his 'Darkness And Light Tour'. Tickets are on sale now.
